Mangaluru, 10 Dec 2020: The Mangalore Catholic Co-operative (MCC) Bank organised a Christmas celebration at Snehalaya, orphanage, Manjeshwar, near here on Sunday, December 6.
The programme began with a prayer led by MCC Bank director Dr Frieda D’Souza.
The Bank chairman Anil Lobo presided the programme.
In his presidential address, Anil Lobo expressed his happiness to be with Snehalaya inmates along with MCC Bank management and staff during this Christmas season. He appreciated the dedication and way Joseph Crasta led this Trust despite all the difficulties he faced.
He further said, a person will be successful if he has good intention, will-power to serve and do good to the needy. He also called upon the staff of MCC Bank to give good service to the customer and gain blessings from Almighty.
Joseph Crasta, trustee of Snehalaya was felicitated by the bank for his enduring, tireless, and selfless service to the society.
The citation letter was read by general manager Sunil Menezes.
In response to the felicitation, Joseph Crasta thanked the management and staff of MCC Bank. He dedicated this felicitation to the staff working in Snehalaya. He also recalled the timely support given by Anil Lobo in the past to Snehalaya. He wished a happy and prosperous Christmas to all.
The Christmas celebration began with Thanksgiving mass by Fr Felix Noronha.
MCC Bank directors Roshan D’Souza, Elroy Kiran Crasto, professional director C G Pinto, deputy general manager Raj Menezes and MCC Bank staff were present.
Director David D’Souza welcomed the gathering. The general mSunil Menezes delivered the vote of thanks. Credit manager Darryl Lasrado compered the programme.
