Mangaluru, 04 Dec 2020: The Founder’s Day was celebrated at Cascia High School, Jeppu, here on Thursday December 3.
The platinum jubilee celebration of the School also held on the same occasion.
Fr Anthony Serra, secretary of Catholic Board of Education presided the programme.
In his presidential address, Fr Anthony explained the importance of parental role along with teachers in educating children.
Swami Raghuramanand of Ramakrishna Mutt and Mangaluru south BEO Rajalakshmi were the chief guests.
Speaking on the occasion, Swami Raghuramanand pointed various challenges of present education system and stressed on the importance of mental support in educating child. He also appreciated the efforts of Cascia High School teachers.
Rajalakshmi appreciated the efforts of Founder Monsignor F X Fernandes and congratulated school faculty for the inauguration of Platinum Jubilee Year.
Retired headmasters of the school, former teachers, Alumni Association members, PTA members, Cascia parsh council members were present.
The students group presented prayer song. Fr Eric Crasta, correspondent of the School welcomed the gathering. Everest Crasta, headmaster of the School introduced committee members.
Aruna Prasad Rai proposed the vote of thanks. Sunita Crasta compered the programme.
