Udupi, 23 June 2011: Udupi District Police Superintendent Dr. Y. S. Ravikumar has indicated that Cyber owners should compulsorily follow the information technology regulations to prevent the cyber crimes. He was speaking in the workshop for the Cyber owners at the District Police Office, organized by District Police Department and Idiacts Innovations Private Limited, on Wednesday.
Now a days the usage of computer has become unavoidable. But the crimes through the computers have increased. In the crime world usage of computer has become common. Information technology is being misused. Cyber owners must collect the details of the clients visiting them, SP suggested. This software is helpful to detect those who are committing cyber crimes. Installing the software from Idiacts company will not cause any loss to the cyber owners, he said.
Should watch those who are visiting the cyber, their identity card, photo and other such documents are to be registered. It is already observed that there was cyber involvement in the bomb blast and other international crimes. It is important to prevent such serious crimes, he said.
