Mangaluru: District IRC organizes 4-day YRC Rejuvenation & Leadership Camp at Pilikula

Mangaluru, 04 Mar: Indian Red Cross (IRC), Dakshina Kannada district unit organized 4-day Youth Red Cross (YRC) rejuvenation and leadership training camp at Pilikula Nisargadhama, Vamanjoor, here from February 29 to March 3.    

 

District YRC coordinator Sachet Suvarna delivered the preliminary address and welcomed the gathering.

 

District IRC chairman CA Shantaram Shetty presided the programme.

 

 

Pilikula Nisargadhama CEO Meghana R inaugurated the programme.

 

Irene Arati, Humanitarian Professional ICRC, IFRC, IRCS & WHO, Pilikula Nisargadhama Regional Science Centre director Dr K V Rao, IRC honorary secretary S A Prabhakar Sharma, IRC honorary treasurer Archibald Herman George Menezes, Karnataka IRC former general secretary Ashok Kumar Shetty were the chief guests present at the dais.

 

One-hundred-ten both students from different colleges of DK district participated in the training programme.

 

Mangalore University NSS nodal officer Dr Nagaratna proposed vote of thanks. University College students Shruti compered the programme. IRC coordinator Praveen Kumar assisted in the programme.
