Mangaluru, 01 Dec: The national level Canine Exhibition that was organized by Karavali Canine Club was inaugurated here on Saturday, November 30.
Karavali Canine Club is the second recognized club in Karnataka by Kennel Club of India. It has been organizing such exhibitions in Mangaluru and Udupi in the last 8 years. Its been patronized by pet owners of different species in the coastal district.
Australian William Bill Smith inaugurated the exhibition. Over 200 dogs of 30 different species took part in the exhibition on Saturday.
A special exhibition of German shepherd was organized. Eighty dogs participated in this event.
The exhibition of Rottweiler and Golden Retriver was also held on Saturday.
Two Championship Shows were held at Nehru Maidan, here on Sunday, December 1. Australian William Bill Smith and Chakkappan Antarasmi from Thailand were the umpires of the event.
Corporator Divakar Pandeshwar and Mangaluru south BJP slum morcha presidnet Praveen Kodialbail were the chief guests of the occasion.
