Udupi: House handed over to Prema Shetty

Udupi, 07 June 2011: Udupi MLA K. Ragupathi Bhat and Kaup MLA Lalaji R. Mendon jointly handed over the house built by entrepreneur Ramesh Shetty to Prema Shetty of Bellampalli who was living in a rented house. Speaking on the occasion Prema Shetty said that, she never thought that she will be able to live in her own house. Since her husband fell down from a tree 2 years ago, he was bed ridden and then died; managing the house along with 2 children was difficult. Now that a house of my own is arranged for me, Ramesh Shetty has the virtue of saving 3 lives, she said emotionally.

 

 

At this occasion on behalf of Kukkehalli Grama Panchayath Ramesh Shetty was felicitated by the MLAs. Taluk Panchayath member Rama Kulal, Purandara Kotiyan, Shekara Hejamadi, APMC President Suresh Nayak, Local Babbuswami Temple Trustee Jayaram Hegde, Grama Panchayath member Praveen Kumar Shetty, Perdur Grama Panchayath President Sudhakar Shetty were present. Barkur Sudhakar Rao compeered the program.
