Udupi, 07 June 2011: Criticizing the protest conducted by BJP for the action taken by central government on Baba Ramdev fasting movement, Udupi District JDS President Devi Prasad Shetty said that it is like they are trying to cook with the fire that is burning someone else’s house.

BJP leaders do not have the courage of their own to protest against corruption, they did not express their support to Ramdev when he began the fasting movement. Now that UPA government has stopped Baba, with the excuse of supporting Baba Ramdev they are protesting against UPA. The reason for their protest is not corruption, but only against UPA government, said Devi Prasad.

After BJP government came to power in the state the corruption, scandals, irregularities, discrimination issues exposed the real face of Chief Minister Yediyurappa and his ministry, before the people. Situation has formed today such that, keeping these ministers as their role models, the officers from the Grama Panchayath to Vidhana Soudha do not carry out any work without bribe. These BJP do not have the moral rights to do the protest. First let them see the dead buffalo on their food leaf and after that let them search for the fly on the food leaf of others, suggested Devi Prasad.
