During the lecture presented by Kathyayini Chamaraj from Bangalore Civic Society, she said that the participation of citizens in the city administration, is to be increased. In the local city administration, which is performing using the citizens money, the citizens should participate and decide on the priorities of the formation of the projects. Even though such provision to make decisions on the project formation in the wards and areas are effectively available for every city of the Karnataka state, the projects are implemented without taking the opinions of the citizens. This action is to be condemned and also everyone has to insist that the process needs to be revoked, said Kathyayini.

The program was presided over by the Municipality President Kiran Kumar. Consumer Vedike President Damodar Aythal was also present on the dias.
