Puttur, 17 Sep: The students of Post Graduate studies in Economics of St Philomena College here recorded 100 percent result in the semester examinations conducted by Mangalore University in May/June 2019. In the fourth semester, 19 students have appeared for the examinations, out of which 16 students have passed in distinction and three have passed in I class. In the second semester, 13 students have appeared for the examinations, out of which 6 have secured distinction and 7 have passed in first class.
In the fourth semester examinations, Praseeda C obtained the top position with seventy eight percent and B T Sowmya obtained the second place with 76 percent of marks. In the second semester examinations, Nafisathul Misriya is the topper with seventy eight percent and Shwetha obtained the second place with seventy seven percent of marks.
The principal Prof Leo Noronha, chairperson of PG Centre Fr Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, cordinator Prof Dinakara Rao and faculty members of the department complimented the students for the tremendous achievement.
