Mangaluru, 17 Apr: Heritage polling centers are being set up for the first time in Beltangady, Sullia, Puttur and Bantwal taluks depicting the local traditions and culture that will welcome voters on Lok Sabha polls that will be held on Thursday, April 18.
It was set up on the direction of Hemalata, integral tribal development project officer, wherein their age old tradition and culture has been unveiled, said the polling officers.
Such polling centers are being set up at Kanyana Government Model Higher Primary School in Beltangady taluk; Balnad Government Higher Primary School in Puttur taluk; Ramakrishna Aided higher Primary School, Badyadka in Sullia taluk and SDM Aided Higher Primary School, Dharmasthala in Beltangady taluk.
