Dr Shyamili was sharing health tips during health checkup camp that was organized by women wing of Billawar Association, Mumbai in collaboration with Tata Memorial Hospital, at Billawar Bhavan, Santacruz (East), here on Sunday, March 31.
Billawar Association president Chandrashekar S Poojary, vice president Harish G Amin and women wing president Jayanti V Ullal jointly inaugurated the health checkup camp.
The surgeons including Dr Shyamili, Dr Aditi Agarwal and Dr Mangala Patil of Tata Memorial Hospital conducted the health checkup camp. They also urged the gathering to shun fear on cancer instead go for screening once a while, when they observe any abnormalities.
Bharat Co-op Bank director Purushottam S Kotian, social activist Gopal Palan Malad, Shanker K Suvarna Khar, Shivaram Poojary, Madhav Ail, women wing vice presidents Prabhakar K Bangera and Girija Chandrashekar, joint secretaries Jayanti S Kotian and Kusuma Amin, Yashodha N T Poojary, Pooja Purushottam Kotial and others were present.
