Manama/Bahrain, 16 Dec 2017: NRI Committee vice president Dr Arati Krishna attended the programme organized by Kannada Sangha – Bahrain as representative of Karnataka state administration, here, on December 12.
Dr Arati offered info about the newly introduced NRI Kannadiga’s welfare programmes by Karnataka state administration.
Anand Prakash, secretary of Indian Embassy in Bahrain appealed the gathering to contact him directly if in case of any issues.
Kannada Sangha – Bahrain president Pradeep Kumar Shetty, secretary Kiran Upadhyaya, entrepreneurs Iftikar, Mohammed Mansoor and Abdul Sattar were present at the dais.
Pradeep Kumar Shetty urged Karnataka state administration to release funds in building Kannada Bhavan, as Kannada Sangha – Bahrain serves the Kannadigas the past 40 years.
Dr Arati assured that she would present the proposal to the state administration in this regard.
