Mangaluru: MLA J R Lobo advises health officials to fill vacancies of Asha activists

Mangaluru, 27 Oct 2017: MLA J R Lobo instructed municipal health officers to fill the vacancies of Asha activists at health centres in Jeppu, Bunder and Kadri localities.

 

 

Addressing the officials during review meeting of health centres in city, here on Thursday, October 26, MLA Lobo said there are 6 posts each lying vacant in health centre in Jeppu and Bunder, 3 posts in Kadri that need to be filled at the earliest.

 

Asha activists were paid monthly salary of Rs 5,000 and allowance. The local residents are better suited for the jobs in their respective localities, he added.

 

He also assured them to seek more state funds for managing health centres in city.
