Qatar: Cricketer Jayasuriya to grace Karnataka Cup on Apr 17

Doha/Qatar, 13 Apr 2017: Karnataka Sangha Qatar (KSQ) announces its seventh Open Cricket Tournament ’Karnataka Cup 2017’, the most sought after cricket tournament among cricket fraternity in Qatar, at Old Ideal Indian School Ground-Doha from Monday, April 17  to Friday, April 21.

 

The legendary Sri Lankan cricketer Sanath Jayasuriya will be gracing the occasion of Inaugural function of Karanataka Cup flood-lit cricket tournament which will begin on Monday at 7.00pm.

 

 

Speaking to the media, KSQ pPresident HK Madhu said that, this time the legendary cricketer Sanath Jayasuriya will be gracing the inaugural ceremony as a guest of honor and 8 famous cricket teams will be participating in the tournament. The participating teams are Hanan, Lama, Tusker, Gahlina, Tulu Koota, Surprise XI and QDC.

 

The Karnataka Cup as usual a famous cricket tournament among Qatar cricket fraternity which always stand high to hosting tournaments in the presence of veteran cricketers: Sayyed Kirmani, Sadananda Vishwanath, Gundappa Vishwanath, Sunil Joshi, Subramanium Badrinath and Kiran More in previous seasons.
