Mumbai, 06 Jul 2016: A Fundraiser Event – Udaan, an orchestra by visually impaired and The:Huddle - Creation by Passion from Chembur, here organized by Lions Club of Sunshine Platinum kept the audience mesmerized as the show was amazing and fun for the entire crowd here on July 2. Both visually impaired and dancers from age of 3 years to adults men and women (working crowd who love Salsa and Jive, are fitness freak) did a great job and enjoy the show as much as the audience does.
It is on the top of best things to do list. They loved it. It is a must see both orchestra and dance show, says PDG Mahesh Gupta, a businessman.
Both Darren Das and Elizabeth Pereira’s Chembur-based Dance Studio, were part of Television reality show Jhalak Dikla Jha. It takes a free mind and a creative soul says Chembur resident, Elizabeth Pereira Pandit, who felt very nice to be part of show where even visually impaired can keep the crowd enthralling.
One of singer Daniel D’Souza, as he sang Badan Pe Sitare from film Prince acted by Shammi Kapoor and sung by Mohammed Rafi, made public sing with him and very applauding him, said Rakesh Chaumal, a Ghatkopar resident, who is also a singer by hobby, he too sang a heart touching song, Teri ankhon ke siva duniya mein rakha kya hai, with a message that he is working towards Eye Vision.
Even other visually impaired singers were Kavita Shinde, pand visually impaired singer Deepak Bedsa, sang some beautiful songs of Kishore Kumar, and adding his own humorous phrases in between. Kewal Haria, is also visually impaired instrument player and partner of Udaan team.
Huddle group had kids performing wonderfully from age 3 years to 6 years and adult male and female group doing Salsa and dance on bollywood songs. Divya Mani Iyer, who hosts lot of shows, did a wonderful compering, as crowd cheered to her shairies in dialogues, said president Deepa Ganneri. They also did plantation of saplings also eye checkup camps, as a drive to grow trees and save energy and earth.
