Abu Dhabi: Krishnamurti emerged Best Speaker of Voices - Verbatim Interschool debate

Abu Dhabi, 14 Nov 2015: Voices – the Debating Club of Abu Dhabi Indian School organized this year’s Voices-Verbatim Interschool One-on-One Debate at School auditorium here on Monday November 9.

 

Anil Pinto was debate moderator did an amazing work of maintaining order and captivated debaters and audience as well. The panel of judges consisted of Abu Dhabi based eminent toastmasters.

 

 

There were altogether 14 participants and Karishmamurti of Class XII - B emerged as the Best Speakerof the day. Shramana Sarkar of Class XI - A and Sathappan Palaniappan of Class XII - B bagged the Best Team First prize.

 

Best team – second position was grabbed by Shrividya Subramanian of Class XI - D and Joseph Sebastian of Class X - J and the third prize was won by Harsha Raju Balwani of Class XII - C and Tharanath Rai of Class XII - D. The winners were awarded with attractive prizes and all the participants received goodie bags and certificates.

 

Shrishrisava Creation, Foodlands, Occasions, Ajanta Jewelers and Salam Bombay were the key sponsors of the event.

 

The principal N C Vijayachandra, vice principal Ravindranath Tataa and head teacher Rashida Khatoon were present.
