Udupi, 13 January 2010: Buses coming from Kundapura by National Highway NH-17 were going through Bannanje Shiribeedu route to city bus stand. Since most of the passengers in these buses are going to Hospitals, Ambalpadi temple, Govt. Hospital, Taluk office, Court etc and due to the difficulties to go to these places, Deputy Commissioner P. Hemalatha have given instructions to all Shuttle buses and Express buses from Kundapura to Udupi through the following routes.
All Shuttle buses and Express buses from Kundapura to Udupi will go through NH-17 and turn left at Ambalpady circle and will pass through Brahmagiri circle, Ajjarakadu, Jodukatte, Taluk Office and through K.M. Marg will go to city bus stand.
Express buses from Udupi city to Kundapura will leave city bus stand and through Kidiyoor Hotel road and Bannanje road will enter the NH-17 at Karavali junction.
Shuttle buses from Udupi city to Kundapura will go in front of Tourist Hotel and through Hanuman junction, K.M. Marg, Taluk Office, Jodukatte, Ajjarkad, Brahmagiri circle, Ambalpadi circle will enter the NH-17 to go to Kundapura.
Udupi city buses to Malpe, Santhekatte, Kalianpura will pass through Bannajje road to Karavali circle and go further.
City buses from Malpe, Santhekatte, Kalianpura to Udupi city bus stand will go through NH-17 and turn left at Ambalpady circle and will pass through Brahmagiri circle, Ajjarakadu, Jodukatte, Taluk Office and through K.M. Marg will go to city stand.
