Riyadh, 24 Sep 2013 : Aangann Konknnechem Riyadh held its 2013 Annual General Body Meeting at Al Jaww  in Riyadh on 20th September,2013 . The AGM was a resounding success, and has helped pave the way forward.

The detailed financial statement was given by Alfred Fernandes highlighting the contributions and expenditures incurred. Report also included AKR’s contribution to the sick and needy through various trusts and individuals.

 

The meeting started with lunch sponsored by Carol and Allen D’Souza, Bangalore and the venue was sponsored by Gerald D’Souza, Mudrangadi.The meeting ended on a happy note. After the meeting members participated in various games like housie-housie, cricket, volley ball and throw ball. Few dived into the pool to refresh themselves.

Aangann Konknnechem Riyadh is a non profitable organization involved in promoting Konkani culture and language through various programs in Riyadh. They have also conducted several programs to help the youth to promote their talent since its inception in 2007. They are helping the poor for their educational needs and also involved with several charitable institutions in Mangalore.
