Kundapur,15 May 2013: The corruption and dishonesty has extended to all spheres.  The education department supplies furniture to state-run schools which spoils within 6 months.  In spite of the painting contractor assigns a few painters to apply just one layer of paints and they work for 1 day, the contractor gets the full contract money.  It was no so in the early days of Independence.  The term of freedom is misused widely, said the veteran entrepreneur and philanthropist Solomon Soans.

Soans was peaking during the seminar that was organized by taluk Kannada Sahitya Parishat, in association with Udupi district Kannada Sahitya Parishat at Soan’s residence here on Tuesday May 14.

Solomon being a top sportsman in his younger days expressed deep concern over youth who are glued to internet.  Cricket is just not only the sport, added Soans.
