Udupi District level Ball Badminton Tournament at SVVN Heradi – Barkur

Udupi 18 Sept: As the grounds and the multiple courts at SVVN are all set to witness close tussle for glittering Trophy’s, almost 20 Ball Badminton teams from, various Schools and High Schools, qualified for the next round, in their respective clusters, hailing from  the Udupi District, having final preparations and looking for a Tournament set to inspire young athletes.

 

The Host SVVN  Principal Mrs Likhita Kotary, along with the Physical Education  / Sports Director Mr Suresh Shetty and Mrs Jyothy were  thrilled to announce that the upcoming District Level Ball Badminton Tournament, scheduled for tomorrow  and optimistic that, this exciting event aims to promote sportsmanship and provide a platform for young athletes to showcase their talents in ball badminton.

 

The tournament will feature teams from various schools across the district, competing in both junior and senior categories. Matches will begin at 9.30 am and continue throughout the day, culminating in the finals scheduled for 3.30 pm...

“We are excited to host this tournament and foster a spirit of competition and camaraderie among young players,” said the Correspondent of SVVN, Mr Rajaram Shetty, “Ball badminton is a growing sport in our district, and we aim to encourage participation at all levels.”

 

The District Level Ball Badminton Tournament is an exciting event aimed at promoting sportsmanship and talent in our community. This tournament brings together players from various schools providing a platform for athletes to showcase their skills and compete for the top honours.

 

Ball badminton, a unique racquet sport, combines elements of traditional badminton with innovative game play, making it both engaging and competitive. Participants will have the opportunity to enhance their teamwork, strategy, and physical fitness.

 

The event will not only highlight individual and team performances but also foster camaraderie among participants and spectators alike. We invite everyone to join us in supporting our athletes and celebrating the spirit of competition. 

 

Spectators are encouraged to attend and support their teams, as there will be lot of fun, refreshments and entertainment available throughout the day.
