Konkani Catholic Association Nallasophara celebrates birth anniversary of Mother Mary

Mumbai, Sep 09: The Konkani Catholic Association at St. Francis de’Sales Church, Central Park, Nallasophara East, celebrated the 2024 annual birthday of Mother Mary ’Monti Fest’ last Sunday with grandeur in memory of Mother Nature.

 

Reverend Rev Fr.Santhosh Salvi blessed the new paddy, vegetables and distributed to the assembled devotees a pure vegetarian meal prepared from the new harvest.

President of the Association Harry B. Coutinho presented the program and told about the celebration of the festival. Committee members like Ronnie Poyce, Royton Kakha, Diana Morais, Lavina D’Souza, Hilda D’Souza and other office bearers were present and worked hard for the success of the birth anniversary of the Goddess. The festival concludes with a traditional new meal of purified rice bran.
