Bantwala: Newly married bride Killed in Road Accident

Bantwala: The incident took place at Talapadi, Bantwala on National Highway Mangalore-Bangalore Road, in a car accident in which the two newlyweds were traveling.

 

Manasa, the wife of Anish Krishna, a resident of Odyadagaya near Perne, died as a newlywed. Anish Krishna, who was seriously injured in the incident, was admitted to a private hospital in Mangalore for treatment.

 

The couple’s Alto car, which was traveling towards Mangalore from B C Road, lost control and jumped from the road over the divider to the other side and collided with the KSRTC bus coming from Mangalore towards BC Road.

 

The car was completely destroyed by the impact and the female passenger died on the spot.

Traffic on the highway was disrupted for some time due to the incident.

 

The wedding took place on September 5 at the Dentadka temple. The incident is said to have taken place when Dentadka came to the temple and was returning to his father-in-law’s house to make some calculations regarding the marriage program.

 

It is said that the two were working in a private company in Mangalore.

 

The traffic police rushed to the spot and registered a case.
