AIFF president & Kar MLA N A Harris gets warm welcome from KSQ

Doha/Qatar, 01 Dec 2022: Karnataka Sangha Qatar (KSQ) in cooperation with Indian Cultural Center (ICC) hosted Indian Community Welcome reception to FIFA invited dignitary N A Harris, vice-president - All India Football Federation (AIFF), president of Karnataka Football Association and member of Karnataka Legislative Assembly from Shanti Nagar Assembly, Bengaluru and felicitated him in traditional Mysore style on November 21 at Ashok Hall Auditorium of ICC.

 

Dignitaries present during this event were ICC president P N Baburajan, vice president Subramanaya Hebbgelu, ICBF president Vinod Nair and members of Indian community members.

 

The platform to this felicitation was created by ICC to honor the dignitaries visiting the State of Qatar during the FIFA 2022 event.

 

 

Mahesh Gowda, president – KSQ welcomed the gathering and thanked N A Harris, for making time for the reception and expressed confidence that under his leadership All India Football Federation will scale to greater heights.

 

Mahesh gowda also thanked ICC for their invite and all associated organizations for felicitating the guest.

 

In his address, P N Baburajan briefed the dignitary about ICC and how ICC is involved in the FIFA 2022 celebrations.

 

Vinod Nair briefed about how Indians are proud to be part of this success of FIFA and hoped that India qualify for world cups in future under the leadership of AIFF.

 

N A Harris thanked KSQ and ICC for their warm welcome and the opportunity to meet the community. Harris also briefed the audience about how the AIFF new committee plans to strengthen football and also mentioned how the Indian Ladies football team is getting stronger these days.
