Mangaluru: Samarasya Mangaluru sets example for community celebration of Ganesha Chaturti

Mangaluru, 04 Sep 2022: Samarasya Mangaluru, city-based organization promoting communal harmony among people of different faith, creed and caste organized Ganesha Chaturti celebrations in collaboration with Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy at Tulu Bhavan, here on Saturday September 3.
The people of different faith gathered in worshiping Lord Ganesha, savior of mankind from troubles. The fellowship meal indeed brought the gathering to understand the diversity in culture and traditions in the society.
Daijiworld Group founder Walter Nandalike was the chief guest, said that it’s the welcome sign to celebrate the festival of Ganesha Chaturti in the midst of people from different faith that has indeed set an example for communal harmony and co-existence.
Save Life Charitable Trust chairman Arjun Bhandarkar, Yakshagana Bhagavat Jabbar Samo were felicitated on the same occasion.
Mangaluru south former MLA J R Lobo, DYFI Karnataka president Munir Katipalla, Kodiala Kabar – GSB Konkani journal chief editor Venkatesh Baliga, Tailors Association Urwa president Uday Bangera, Sri Shakti Dharmastala Rural Development Project coordinator Shabana Banu, Saritam Sujata and others were present.
Samarasya Mangaluru chairperson Manjula Nayak welcomed the gathering. Pramila compered the programme. Chetan Kumar proposed vote of thanks.
