Kallianpur Milagres College, students gearing up to take up jobs in prestigious firms

Udupi, 07 Aug 2022: The present education system, slowly transforming from its traditional knowledge oriented approach to be employment based. Soon after, even while studying in the Colleges, the prospective / would be graduates are trained to face interviews and are preparing and ready to accept jobs.
Since last few years, under the dedicated team of ‘Career Guidance & Placement Cell’, the Milagres College Kallianpur has done praiseworthy service and in these days under its dynamic and resourceful Placement Officer Prof Karthik Nayak and the team is very regular, rigorous and successful to find lucrative opportunities to its students. It is a continuous process. Our students not only enthusiastically participated in various ‘Udyog Mela’s organised by entrepreneurs’ and corporate houses, but fairly in large number, deservedly short listed and selected.
Last week the ‘MCK Career guidance Cell’ recorded a stunning success, as prestigious Nandi Toyota, Bangalore was invited to conduct Campus Placement drive here, which took place on 04/08/2022 in the Audio Visual Auditorium of the College, in Kallianpur. Mr Madhusudan, Assistant Manager of Human Resource Dept. of Toyota was the resource person accompanied by Mr Nikith who was a proud Alumnus of Milagres College. Presently he is working as the Human Resource Executive in ‘Nandi Toyota’.
In the rigorous selection process, which included personal interviews, appraisals, written tests etc 21 Students of the College were shortlisted for the final round. During the program Mr Madhusudan explained the importance of being trained to get the jobs in the tough and competitive market.
Principal of the College, Dr Vincent Alva presided over the program, wished all success to participants and appreciated the Toyota Team and our own former Milagrean in Mr Nikith for his initiatives and for coming to Kallianpur. Prof Karthik Nayak Convenor of Career Guidance & Placement Cell and team members and Mr Clifton DSouza Student representative were present on the dais during the short inaugural program.
