Kundapura: Shubhada Eng Med School students set example in planting paddy saplings

Kundapura, 30 Jun 2022: The Class X students of Shubhada English Medium School, Kirimanjeshwar, near here voluntarily planted paddy saplings at the field owned by progressive farmer Ganapa Devadiga, Heranjalu, amidst drizzling rains.

 

 

The students involved in this task are indeed appreciated by the locals as the traditional farmhands doing the same are declining in recent times. They also gained knowledge about paddy cultivation and related activities from Ganapa Devadiga.

 

The School governing council member R K Billava, head teacher Vidhya Shetty, teachers Rosamma, Gayatri Preetam Shetty, Anita and office staff were present.
