Udupi: Kalathur church parish priest Fr Lawrence D’Souza passes away at 71

Udupi, 17 May 2022: Fr Lawrence D’Souza, the parish priest of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Chucrh, Kalathur, passed away on Tuesday May 17. He was 71. Rev. Fr Lawrence D’Souza born on 09-04-1951 and Ordained on 05-05-1977.

 

 

Fr Lawrence was reportedly sick since a long time.

 

He had served as an assistant parish priest at Udyavar and Santhekatte-Mount Rosary parishes.

 

He had also served as the parish priest at Indabettu, Taccode, Beltangady, Mudarangady and Belman parishes. 

 

The funeral mass will be held on Thursday, 19 May at 03.00 pm at Kalathur Church followed by Funeral Rites. The mortal remains will be kept in Kalathur Church from 1.00 pm for public viewing and paying last respects.
