Lifting of weekend, night curfew: Decision to be taken on scientific basis

Bengaluru, 21 Jan 2022: Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai stated on Friday that the decision to relax the weekend and night curfews would be made on scientific basis. He added a meeting with expert committee members later in the afternoon would determine whether the weekend curfew would be maintained.

 

Many legislators, MPs, and organisations are expected to speak out on the subject. According to Bommai, a proper decision will be made based on expert opinions and the current third wave of Covid’s development.
