KVGB ties up with Liberty Gen Insurance; auto loans, health insurance to become cheaper

Mangaluru, 10 Dec 2021: Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank (KVGB), a leading regional rural Bank which is providing easily accessible banking and credit services to the rural population through its 629 branches has entered into an MoU with Liberty General Insurance Co Ltd., which is one among the reputed General Insurance Company having word wide branches, for selling general Insurance products through its branches.

 

Chandrashekar D Moro, general manager of the Bank and Manish Kotian, senior vice president of Liberty General Insurance signed and exchanged the pact on Tuesday, December 6, in the presence of P Gopi Krishna, chairman of the Bank.

 

Speaking on the occasion P Gopi Krishna, chairman, KVGB said, ‘Looking to huge potential in the general Insurance sector the Bank has entered MoU with Liberty General Insurance Co.

 

 

As per the MoU terms the  Company will provide a variety of general health insurance products like personal accident, car and two-wheeler insurance, employee compensation insurance, commercial insurance, fire and engineering insurance, health and other miscellaneous insurance products with reasonably affordable cost. The Bank is consistently enhanced its portfolio to meet the diverse financial needs of its valued customers and alliance in this regard is a step in that direction,’ said P Gopi Krishna. He urged the Company Officials to launch customized policies for the bank customers.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Manish Kotian, senior vice president of Liberty General Insurance said that partnership with Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank is an important milestone in the company’s journey to offer its market leading products through a trusted partner to a crucial segment of the State which has traditionally seen low insurance penetration. Alliance with KVGB will spearhead Companies expansion in Karnataka and he assured to provide the best service and products to the bank’s customers.

 

The general manager of the Bank P Srinivas Rao, chief manager S S Manur, Praveen T S, vice president of Liberty Insurance, Kalyan Revanur, associate vice president and others were present on the occasion.
