Udupi: First Zone Social of Zone II Region III of Lions Dist. 317C held at Lions Club, Moodubelle

Udupi/M’Belle, 09 Oct 2021: The first Zone Social of Zone II Region III of Lions District 317 C was held at the Lions Seva Bhavan  hosted by the Lions Club of Moodubelle on Saturday, 9 October 2021. The Zone Chairman Ln. Vadiraj Rao mjf was the chief guest. Four Lions Clubs-Lions Club of Brahmagiri, Udupi, Lions Club, Sangama, Udupi, Lions Club, Bannanje Tiger and Lions Club, Moodubelle constitute Zone II. The First Zone Social was presided over by Ln. Valerian Noronha-President of the Lions Club, Moodubelle. The other dignitaries on the dais included the chief guest Zone Chairman Ln. Vadiraj Bhat and his wife Mrs. Geetha Vadiraj Rao, Leo District President Joy Fernandes, Ln. Joseph Martis-Secretary oif the Lions Club, Moodubelle, Ln. Elias Lobo-Treasurer, Leo Joyce Fernandes-President of the Leo Club, Moodubelle and presidents of the other member clubs.

 

The Zone Social Programme commenced with the prayer song by the Leo members. The Secretaries of all the four Lions Clubs in the Zone II presented their activities report.

 

The chief guest Ln. Vadiraj was introduced by Ln. Gerald Fernandes.

 

In his address Ln. Vadiraj Rao appreciated the various service activities conducted by all the Lions Clubs included in the Zone. He expressed his gratitude to the Lions Club of Moodubelle for hosting the First Zone Social.

 

 

On this occasion the Leo District President Joy Fernandes and Secretary Aiden Menezes were felicitated by the dignitaries on the dais. Ln. Elias D’Souza who is a Civil Engineer was also honoured for his service to the Lions Club, Moodubelle and  the society.

 

Leo Joy Fernandes, Region III Chairman Ln. Panduranga Acharya and Ln. Muhammad Hanif-District Coordinator of ‘Santrupti’ delivered felicitation messages.

 

Ln. Valerian Noronha welcomed the gathering. Ln. Joseph martis proposed the vote of thanks and Ln. Wilson D’Souza compeered the programme.
