Mumbai: D’Costa Saw Mill Showrooms Inaugurated

Mumbai (Ronida), 23 Aug 2021: D’Costa saw mill showroom and administrative office was blessed by Rev. Fr. Sylvester D’Costa Parish Priest of Immaculate Conception Church, Karnad, Mulki church. Mulki showroom was inaugurated by Shri Umanath Kotian MLA of Moodabidri.
Hejamadi office was inaugurated by former MLA Moodabidri shri Abhayachandra Jain and blessed by Rev Fr. Sylvester D’Costa Parish Priest of Karnad, Mulki. All the guests were welcomed by Mr. Paul Rolphi D’Costa owner of D’Costa saw mill.
The guests present were Shri Anantha Asranna Purohit Kateel Durgaparameshwari Temple, Janaab Ismile Daarimi, Islamic scholar of Jumma Masjid Karnad, Rev Fr. Francis Xavier Gomes former Principal of St. Philomena College Puttur, Shri Lalaji R. Mendon MLA Kapu, Shri K.Abhayachandra Jain Former MLA of Moodabidri, Dharmadarshi Harikrishna Punaroor Former President of Kannada Sahithya Parishath, Shri Walter D’Souza Former President of Rapthu Uttejana Mandali, Vanijya Sachivalaya, Bharath Sarkar, Shri Joylus D’Souza President of Christian Development Society, Mr. Pranesh Hejamadi Panchayath President of Hejamadi, Shri Chandrashaker Puthran owner of Puthran Complex, Shri Kote Shekabha Correspondent Al’hazer English Medium High School Hejamadi, Mr. Cyprian Monthero, Deputy Director of Education Department.
After Welcome program guests at the dais planted few saplings felicitation was conducted to honour the few for their various services. The following were felicitated during the ceremony. Ms. Divya, Manager of D’Costa sawmill Hejamadi, Mr. Ravindra, Pigmi collector Hejamadi, Mr. Shekabha, Mr. Chandrashekar Putran, Mr Divakar Hejamadi.
Vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Deeksha. During the program host Mr. Rolphy D’costa, Mrs. Maria Dcosta, Mr. Clinton Cutinho, Mrs. Romia D’Costa and Mr. Romson D’Costa were present.
This organisation has been donating planks and fire wood for crimination, fire wood for Pooja’s, coffins for funerals, and financial help for marriages of poor people of all community. And also celebrating Vana Mahotsava every year by planting saplings.
