Mangaluru: Mandd Sobhann presents Konkani Live Musical Concert, Kulkulo in city

Mangaluru, 07 Jan 2021: Mandd Sobhann, city-based Konkani organization presented Konkani live musical concert titled, Kulkulo, at Kalangann, Makale, Shaktinagar, here on Sunday January 3 at 6.00pm.

 

Konkani music composer Irene D’Souza Anjelore inaugurated the programme by ringing beat the traditional bell.

 

Mandd Sobhann Gurkar Eric Ozario and vice president Naveen Lobo were present at the dais.

 

Lavina Danti assisted in the event.

 

 

The singers – Shilpa Cutinha, Herald Tauro, Stephen Cutinha, Jason Lobo, Gavin Menezes, Anson Menezes, Manoj Crasta, Rhea D’Souza and Lisha D’Silva presented 14 songs composed by Lloyd Rego and Roshan D’Souza Angelore.

 

Vijay Rasquinha led music group – Off Beat, Kaikamba presented one song, while the students of Summers Music School trained by singer Shilpa presented a song dedicated to Eric Ozario.

 

Naach Sobhann – dance troupe promoted by Mandd Sobhann led by Rahul Pinto presented 3 songs.

 

The instrumentalists Roshan D’Souza Anjelore (lead guitar), Melvyn Fernandes (drums), Russell Rodrigues and Milton Brags (keyboard), Arthur Lobo (base guitar), Vikshit Mulky (table –dolak) and Rueben Machado (saxophone) provided the playback music.

 

Lloyd Rego compered the programme.
