Udupi/M’Belle: New Year 2021 Welcomed With Adoration and Holy Mass in St. Lawrence Church

Udupi/M’Belle, 01 Jan 2021: The New Year 2021 was welcomed with adoration and Holy Mass in St. Lawrence Church, Moodubelle on the evening of 31 December. The hour-long  Adoration was conducted by Fr. Jithesh Castelino, Assistant Parish Priest of St. Lawrence Church, Moodubelle.

 

The Holy Mass on the eve of the New Year was concelebrated by Fr. Clement Mascarenhas, Parish Priest of St. Lawrence Church, Moodubelle. Other concelebrants included Dr. Lawrence D’Souza, Fr. Jithesh Castelino, Fr. Raymond D’Souza and Fr. Valerian (OFM Cap).

 

 

In his homily Fr. Clement Mascarenahs stressed on the importance of Mother Mary in our faith and in the history of salvation. He also emphasized on the role of mothers in their respective families.

 

Around 1000 people participated in the Adoration and the Holy Mass.
