Udupi: Students need to be updated on challenges ahead – Dr Vasudev

Udupi, 17 Dec 2020: At this jet set age, the more you learn less it is. As we are facing challengers after challenges in every sphere daily; the students ought to take keen interest in innovations and extracurricular activities. At this IT era, the new experiments are unravelling that is opening new vistas for creating thinking. The students got to understand such aspects during the studies it. It would help them when they seek jobs during interviews that would enable them in reaching their goals in life, said Prof Dr Vasudev, Sri Madwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal, near here.
Dr Vasudev was speaking during distribution of certificate courses that was held at St Mary’s College, here on Tuesday December 15.
St Mary’s College principal Dr Herald Ivan Monis presided the programme.
In his presidential address, Dr Herald said, ‘The students of all faculties ought to take active role in extracurricular activities. The students should be equipped to effectively face the challenges by studies and training that would get them better jobs,’ he said.
The College head of department of mathematics and IT cell director K Praveen Kumar, computer literacy cell director Divyasri, students, lecturers and staff were present.
