Mandd Sobhann invites entries from Konkani artistes to confer 16th Carvalho Family Kalaakar Puraskar

Mangaluru, 15 Sept 2020: Mandd Sobhann, city-based Konkani organization striving to promote Konkani and its distinct culture worldwide invites application to confer Carvalho Family sponsored 16th Kalakar Puraskar.

 

The candidates should be native Konkani speaker and residing in Karnataka state, achieved significant achievement in Konkani art form such as music, dance, theater or folk art. Among the total entries, one candidate will be chosen to confer 16th Puraskar that comprises cash award of Rs 25,000, citation letter and public honor.

 

The artistes themselves can send their entries or others can forward the entries on their behalf. The general public can also recommend their names.

 

The entries should include a passport size pic and background info which can be sent to Kalaangann, Shaktinagar, Mangaluru – 575016. The deadline to receive the entries will be September 30.
