Shantaram Mogaveera (39), regular blood donor suffering from kidney failure seeks financial help

Kundapura, 31 Aug 2020: Thirty-nine-year-old Shantaram Mogaveera, a resident of Janata Colony, Hardalli, Bidkalkatte, near here who had bestowed with several awards for his significant social services including voluntary blood donation is suffering from kidney failure and is reeling under extreme financial difficulty.
Shantaram has been working as security guard at Chinmaya Hospital, here who would voluntarily donate his blood of O + to critical patients who were admitted at the Hospital. He has donated his blood 20 times so far during blood camps held here over the years.
Now, he is ailing because of kidney failure and needs dialysis at KMC Hospital, Manipal, Udupi.
Meanwhile, although one of his relative volunteered to donate his kidney that the surgeons said would not go well with his system.
He is living with his wife and lone daughter who is studying in Class VIII. The family has already exhausted their hard earned savings and hope the kind-hearted donors help them generously. They also hope someone come forward to donate their kidney.
The doctors estimated that nearly Rs 20 lac needed for the treatment of Shantaram that his family it impossible to bear.
