‘Anubhava 2020’ PST Seminar of Lions Clubs of Region II held at Lions Seva Bhavan, Moodubelle

Udupi/M’Belle, 09 Aug 2020: The Seminar of Presidents-Secretaries-Treasurers (PST) of eight Lions Clubs included in Region II of the Lions District 317C hosted by the Lions Club of Subhashnagar was held at the Lions Seva Bhavan, Moodubelle on Sunday, 09 August 2020 from 9.30 am to 1.30pm.

 

The PST Seminar was inaugurated by Ln. Stephen Castelino of Subhashnagar Lions Club who is the present Region Chairman by lighting the lamp along with the dignitaries on the dais. The dignitaries included: Ln. Dr. Vincent Alva-President of the Lions Club of Subhashnagar who presided over the inaugural function, Ln. K.C. Veerabhadra-Second Vice District Governor as the chief guest, Ln. Kiran Rangayya-Virtual Team Ambassador-Resource Person, Ln. Devdas Hebbar-Chief Coordinator of Agriculture and Rural Development-Resource Person, Ln. Melwyn Aranha-Region Pilot, Ln. Elias D’Souza-Region Secretary, Ln. Gerald Fernandes-District Leo Coordinator, Ln. Ragendra Shetty-Zone I Chairma and Ln. Lancy Corda-Zone II Chairman.

 

Following the inauguration, Ln. Stephen Castelino in his address highlighted the need to have proper training to the office bearers of Lions Clubs, especially to Presidents, Secretaries and Treasurers.

 

Chief guest, Ln. Veerabhadra in his message congratulated the Lions Clubs of Subhashnagar and Moodubelle in organizing the seminar.

 

Ln. Dr. Vincent Alva in his presidential address said,” If you have a choice, choose the best; and if you do not have a choice, do the best”. He made an appeal to the office bearers of Lions Clubs to get themselves trained and fulfill their responsibilities by doing their duties sincerely.

 

 

Ln. Melwyn Aranha welcomed the gathering, Ln. Elias D’Souza proposed the vote of thanks and Ln. Augustine Barboza compeered the programme.

 

Following the end of the inaugural function the PST Seminar was conducted by Ln. Kiran Rangayya and Ln. Devdas Hebbar. Ln. N.M. Hegde, present Governor of Lions District 317C addressed the office bearers of the Region II.

 

Certificates of participation were distributed to Presidents, Secretaries and Treasurers following the end of the seminar.
