Mangaluru: Manjanady GP fast developing among 21 villages of Mangaluru taluk – MLA Khader

Mangaluru, 02 Jul 2020: The children’s play schools are offering quality education to carve out better future for them, said MLA U T Khader.
MLA Khader was speaking after inaugurating newly-built Anganawady centre that was built by Manjanady gram panchayat, women and child department in collaboration with MGNAREGA and MRPL at Natekal, at the limits of Manjanady gram panchayat, near here on Wednesday, Jul 1.
He also said, ‘Twelve state-of-the-art Anganawady centers are set up in Mangaluru legislative assembly constituency in collaboration with MRPL to impart quality education to students in their early schooling,’ said Khader.
Speaking on the occasion, Mangaluru TP president Mohammed Monu said that Manjanady village is the fastest growing village amongst 21 villages of Mangaluru taluk. Its gram panchayat has realized the dream of Mahatma Gandhi to be clean village.
TP member Surekha Chandrahas said that women and child welfare department is striving to give better future to children as they are the future of our nation. Anganawady workers are also serving as Corona warriors in nation’s fight to curb Novel Coronavirus pandemic.
DK district Congress minority unit president N S Karim, Manjanady gram panchayat vice president Mariamma, MRPL officer Vijayendra Bhat, women and child district officer Shamala, Manjanady gram panchayat member M M Abbas, Prem, Abdul Khader Kalkatta, Ashraf K P, Moideen and others were present.
Manjanady gram panchayat president Mohammed presided the programme.
