Mangaluru, 01 Jun 2020: The private bus services in Dakshina Kannada district began plying here on Monday, June 1, after Covid-10 lockdown 4.

The bus drivers and conductors including passengers were found wearing masks and using sanitizers. The conductors were also keeping logs of passengers with their names and contact numbers. The passengers had to follow social distancing by occupying just one seat that was originally meant for two.

The state-run NERM buses also began a few services on city routes.

The state-run KSRTC buses also began services since a few days ago to Moodbidri and other far flung areas within Karnataka.

The bus operators including passengers ought to get used to new normal to combat Covid-19.
