Mangaluru: Hyenas, bisons & rare ducks arrive at Pilikula Nisargadhama

Mangaluru, 29 Feb: Hyenas, bisons & rare wild black ducks have arrived from Mysuru Zoo at Pilikula Botanical Gardens, Moodushedde, here on Friday, February 28 under exchange programme of central zoo Authority. With the arrival of 2 bisons; Pilikula has now a total of 4 bisons.
Meanwhile, Pilikula also sent three-year-old Bengal tiger, 4 cobras and 2 wild ducks to Jayarajendra Zoo, Mysuru.
Wild ducks are available for public viewing; while after a week hyenas will be available for viewing.
White and yellow rhea birds, 2 swamp dears, oriental darter birds, white tiger will soon arrive at Pilikula from other zoos in the country, stated the media release issued by Pilikula Botanical Gardens director H J Bhandary.
