Mangaluru: University College to host UPL – 2020 on Feb 18; auction over

Mangaluru, 15 Feb: The auction of players who will partake in University Premier League (UPL), 150-year-old University College of Mangalore University was held at their Shivarama Karant auditorium, here on Tuesday, February 11.

 

UPL – 2020 championship trophy will be held at University College grounds, here on February 18 from 9.00am to 5.00pm.

 

 

The College principal Dr Uday Kumar conveyed best wishes to other students that UPL may be inspiring to them.

 

A total of 8 teams including 2 girl students will partake in the championship trophy. They are: UCM Warriors, UCM Brigade, UCM Elevens, UCM Strikeers, UCM Royals, UCM Pink Panthers and UCM Blue Angels. The professor is the owner of each team and one professor will be included in 6 players’ team.

 

The College physical education deputy director Dr Keshavamurti, student council leader Sampat B, sports secretary Manish Kumar and Kavya, team owners were present during the auction.
