Puttur: Medha College, Bellari bags championship of state-level IT Fest, Pinnacle 2020

Puttur, 16 Jan: St Philomena College - department of computer science in association with IQAC of the college organized State level IT Fest ‘PINNACLE 2020’ at college auditorium, here on January 10.
The proprietor of Varadaraja Traders, Puttur Krishnananda Nayak inaugurated the Fest and said, ‘Success is the result of hard work. One cannot achieve success just by dreaming about it. A dream must become reality. By continuously putting great efforts anyone can make a dream into reality.’
The campus director Fr Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro participated as the guest of honor and expressed his best wishes.
The principal of St Philomena PU College Fr Vijay Lobo expressed his best wishes. The principal Prof Leo Noronha delivered his presidential address.
On this special occasion, Shivani M was felicitated for securing 7th rank in BCA at the Mangalore University level examinations of April/May 2019. The Assistant Professor Geetha Poornima K delivered felicitation address.
Shalini and team performed the prayer. The HoD Vinayachandra welcomed the gathering. The student coordinator Sherman Baptist Rodrigues proposed the vote of thanks. Shiny D’Souza compered the programme.
This State level IT Fest ‘PINNACLE 2020’ consisted of 10 events. The students from 20 colleges from various parts of Karnataka have participated in these events. Medha College, Bellari bagged the overall championship and St Aloysius College Mangaluru secured the Runners up trophy.
The Prize Distribution ceremony of the ‘Pinnacle 2020’ was organized in the evening. The principal Prof Leo Noronha distributed the prizes. The Assistant Professor Varija M presented the list of prize winners. The staff coordinator Rajeshwari M coordinated the programme. The student coordinator Sharath K V proposed the vote of thanks.
