Udupi/M’Belle: Elwin Arcade-Commercial and Residential Complex Inaugurated

Udupi/M’Belle, 29 Nov: The Commercial and Residential building on the Main Road, Moodubelle, the first of its kind constructed by Misquith Associates, Shirva was inaugurated and blessed on Friday, 29 November 2019 at 11 am.

 

The Commercial Complex was inaugurated by Mrs. Ranjani Hegde, President of Belle Grama Panchayat and Residential Apartments Complex was inaugurated by Mrs. Serphine and Michael Misquith, Pilar, parents of Edward Misquith the proprietor of Misquith Associates.

 

Following a brief prayer service conducted by Fr. Clement Mascarenhas, Parish Priest of St. Lawrence Church, Moodubelle and Fr. Jithesh Castelino, Assistant Parish Priest the entire commercial and residential complex was blessed by both the priests.

 

A brief stage programme was organized soon after the blessing of the complex. Mrs. Ranjani Hegde, Fr. Clement Mascarenhas, Wilson Rodrigues-Member of Udupi Zilla Panchayat, Dwarakish N.C, Chief Manager, Bank of Baroda Shirva Branch, M. Gopala Bhat, Consulting Engineer, A.G. Associates, Udupi, Upendra Prabhu, Consulting Engineer, Design Line, Shirva and Edward Misquith were on the dais.

 

In his message, Fr. Clement Mascarenhas said that he was privileged to bless the Elwin Arcade three years after he had laid the foundation stone of the same building. He wished well to Edard Misquith and all the flat and shop owners.

 

Mrs. Ranjani Hegde in her address mentioned that Edward Misquith, a man of few words and great deeds had a dream of erecting the commercial and residential building in Moodubelle in which he has been successful. She further said that such a beautiful multi-storey building is an addition to the development of Moodubelle.

 

 

Wilson Rodrigues also appreciated the efforts of Edward Misquith in constructing such a magnificent building in Moodubelle after successfully competing multiple projects in Shirva and wished him well.

 

Dwarakish N.C. and Goplala Bhat also expressed their happiness at the completion of the project in Moodubelle.

 

Ravindra Rai M., General Manager, Bank of Baroda, Udupi Region who arrived a little later also complimented Edward Misquith for his success in constructing such a beautiful and elegant commercial and residential complex.

 

Mementos were given to the dignitaries by Edward Misquith, his wife Mrs. Babitha Misquith and their son Elwin Michael Misqith.

 

Edward Misquith welcomed the guests, Mrs. Babitha Misquith proposed the vote of thanks and Norbert Machado compeered the programme.
