Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh: Brochure of ‘Samudayotsava-2020’ released

Udupi, 28 Nov: In view of the organization of ‘Samudayotsava 2020’ on 19 January 2020 at Mount Rosary Church premises by the Catholic Sabha of Udupi Pradesh, its office was inaugurated and Brochure was released on Thursday, 28 November 2019 at the hall of the Catholic Sabha.

 

The office of ‘Samudayotsava 2020’ was inaugurated by Dr. Jerry Dias, proprietor of  Mandavi Builders and Real Estate and the Brochure was released by Prakyat Shetty, Vice President of Udupi District Congress and renowned businessman.

 

Speaking on this occasion, Prakyat Shetty said that Christian community lives in harmony will all the people through peace and service with love to the society. Like bright white cloth, Christian community always believes in living in peace and harmony. Through ‘Samudayotsava 2020’ the Christian community will be able to unite its members and promote peace and harmony in the society.

 

 

Dr. Vincent Dias in his message said that by organizing ‘Samudayotsava 2020’ the Christian community would promote unity and also hoped that the youth of Christian community would get better education and rather than seeking jobs abroad would be able to do their own business or take up government service in their own motherland.

 

Around 5000 members from the Christian community are expected to take part in the ‘Samudayotsava 2020’ and achievers from 6 fields will be honoured along with life time achievers.

 

Alwyn Quadros, President of Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh, Secretary Santosh Cornelio, Convener of ‘Samudayotsava 2020’ Elroy Kiran Crasto, immediate past presidents Valerian Fernandes, former president Alphonse D’Costa, Walter Cyril Pinto and Dr. Gerald Pinto were present. Alwyn Quadros welcomed the gathering and Secretary of ‘Samudayotsava 2020’ Mrs. Mary D’Souza proposed the vote of thanks.
