Bantwal: Renowned orator Chakravarti Soolibele urges students to innovate on challenges

Bantwal, 20 Nov: The engineering students got to be innovative to the changing times. They should not be only after securing higher marks, employment and earning; instead got to develop innovative ideas in finding solutions to different challenges with tenacity, said well known orator and intellectual Chakravarti Soolibele.
Chakravarti was speaking during Founder’s Day and Kannada Rajyotsav celebrations held at Canara Engineering College, Benjanpadav, near here on Tuesday, November 19.
India’s swift move to changing world sustained its global position. Furthermore, the veteran entrepreneur Jamshedji Tata was impressed with Karnataka in setting up Indian Institute of Science. The major social reformers and religious leaders Madwacharya, Ramanujan were born in Karnataka and thrived to bring about social changes during their lifetime, said Chakravarti.
He also urged the Kannadiga to do their mite in this regard.
Canara Engineering College Dr Ganesh V Bhat presided the programme.
In his preliminary address, the administrator M Ganesh Kamat briefed about Founder’s Day celebration.
NSS unit officer Narayanaswamy was present.
