Bantwal: Mega industries to develop infrastructure at B C Road under CSR @ Rs 21.50 crore

Bantwal, 22 Oct: All issues that hinder the infrastructural developments and beautification of taluk center at B C Road will be resolved soon, said Karnataka revenue and civic minister R Ashok.
The minister Ashok was speaking during the discussion meeting of departmental officials and peoples representatives held at Circuit House, here on Monday, October 21.
The Mangaluru – Bengaluru national highway passing through B C Road is a mess without service roads on either sides, any gutters and footpath. Meanwhile, the state government will hand over space to NHAI to lay the footpath, said Ashok.
He also commended the mega industries and entrepreneurs in developing landscape of B C Road under CSR program. Furthermore, he assured state assistance in this regard.
DK MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said that all development works including national highway at B C Road that are sanctioned by central government will be expedited and MPs funds will be provided to construct bus-bays.
Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik said that the infrastructural developments and beautification works at B C Road will be undertaken at a cost of Rs 21.50 crore. MRPL, NMPT, oil majors HPCL and IOCL, others industries and both union/state administration are joining hands in developing the taluk center.
DK district-in-charge minister Kota Srinivas Poojary, ZP CEO Dr Selvamani, ZP president Meenakshi Shantigodu, MLAs Vedavyas Kamat and Dr Bharat Shetty, SP Laxmiprasad, NHAI project director Shishumohan, departmental officers were present.
