Mangaluru: Made in Kudla - Handmade Arts & Crafts Exhibition opens at Kadri Rocks

Mangaluru, Oct 4: ‘Made in Kudla’, a unique exhibition of Mangalorean Handmade Arts & Crafts is being hosted at Kadri Rocks Art Gallery, Kadri Kambla, here from October 2 to October 8, open from 10.00am to 6.00pm.
The exhibition opened on October 2, with inauguration ceremony at 10.30 am.
Eulalia D’Souza, Ramona Mathias and photographer Yajna were the chief guests for the inauguration.
Kadri Rocks Art Gallery patron Harsha D’Souza gave an introduction to South Kanara Culture.
‘It is for our future generations that we have to preserve our heritage and culture. Art in every form must be encouraged and displayed,’ said Ramona Mathias.
Eulalia D’Souza spoke about local art and craft. She congratulated the Kadri Rocks team for conducting this event.
Made in Kudla is a weeklong event to promote 15 local artists. It includes jewelry, dream catchers, flower pots, bottle art among other art items which are on display.
There is a dedicated photo gallery on Mangaluru culture with photographs taken by veteran photographer Yajna. This will be a permanent feature where tourists can come and have a glimpse of the local culture through photographs.
Made in Kudla has been organized by Kadri Rocks in association with Sanchia, the planner.
