Mangaluru: Rich tributes paid to Mahatma Gandhi to mark 150th birth anniversary

Mangaluru, 03 Oct: DK district-in-charge Kota Srinivas Poojary and other dignitaries paid rich tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Gandhi Park, here on Wednesday, October 2 to mark 150th Gandhi Jayanti.

 

 

A book on Mahatma Gandhi’s life was released by information and PR department on the same occasion.

 

Rich tributes were also offered to former PM Lal Bahadur Shastry on his birth anniversary.

 

The former DC Sasikant Sentil spoke about 150th Gandhi Chintan Yatra during the function held at Garodi temple auditorium, here.
