Beltangady: Dr Veerendra Heggade appeals self-employed youth to start online services

Beltangady, 20 Sep: The self-employment trained individuals at RUDSET should start small businesses in their native towns and serve their customers with honesty and commitment. They can also start online service to better serve their customers, said Sri Kshetra Dharmastala Dharmadhikari Dr Veerendra Heggade.

 

Heggade was speaking after inaugurating RUDSET board of directors annual meet held at Sri Sannidi guesthouse, Dharmastala, here on Thursday, September 19.

 

‘The customers are real advertisers for small entrepreneurs who can earn better income and lifestyle, improve family living. Women need not be unemployed as there are several instances to prove that they have made their mark by setting up their own profitable business. It has brought laurels to RUDSET that is well known in India will also make its presence in the world,’ said Heggade.

 

 

RUDSET offers self-help training along with moral education and human values, in shaping better cultured individuals in the society, added Heggade.

 

RUDSET with 568 institutes already trained 37 lac unemployed youth in self employment, said Heggade.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Mangaluru-based MRPL managing director M Venkatesh said, ‘We face shortage of energy in our country. The generation of energy should go hand in hand with environmental conservation. The need of hour is to reduce plastic use in our day-to-day living,’ said Venkatesh.

 

He also expressed happiness over Sri Kshetra Dharmastala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP) in imparting skill training to rural youth as welders, fitters and electricians are in great demand.

 

Syndicate Bank GM Sairam Hegde and Canara Bank DGM Ambukkaran commended the contributions of RUDSET.

 

RUDSET trained successful entrepreneurs Savitri from Gadag, Priya from Kannur in Kerala, Durga from Madurai in Tamil Nadu and Jeevan from Ujire explained their success stories.

 

RUDSET CEO M Janardhan welcomed the gathering. The director Vinayakumar proposed vote of thanks. The senior lecturer Anusuya compered the programme.
