Mangaluru: Young man from Thokkottu succumbs to suspected Dengue

Mangaluru, 16 Sep: Twenty five year old Harshith Gatti from Bhatnagar in Thokkottu has succumbed to suspected Dengue at the KS Hegde Hospital at Deralakatte where he was undergoing treatment, on the evening of September 15.

 

 

Harshith who was the son of Mamatha Gatti and Harish Gatti was earlier admitted to Sahara Hospital on September 12 and was shifted to KS Hegde Hospital on September 14 after his condition saw no improvement.

 

Hospital sources said Harshith was infected with rat fever and also Dengue. He worked as a welder.

 

Harshith who had suffered injuries nearly two months after a fall during work had rejoined work just recently.
